How to Convert Units

Another example, to convert feet to meters, the conversion factor is 0.3048, so you would multiply the number of feet by 0.3048 to get the equivalent number of meters.

In general, the conversion formula is:

(Unit A) x (Conversion factor) = (Unit B)

where Unit A is the unit you want to convert from and Unit B is the unit you want to convert to.
